God’s glory is on tour in the skies, God-craft on exhibit across the horizon. Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening. Their words aren’t heard, their voices aren’t recorded, but their silence fills the earth: unspoken truth is spoken everywhere.

Psalms 19:1-4 MSG

I wanted to take this time to thank God.

Thank you, God,

I live in a beautiful place. Thank You for the reminder of Your glory. Most of all, thank You for giving me the time to admire and notice You. So many times, I just go and go. I expect You to be there for me, but I don’t ever see what You want from me. I can say it’s so hard because I have so many things on my plate, or that it’s easy to get distracted. But the thing is, You put a constant reminder of Your glory in my life. If I look up to the skies, whence cometh my help, I’ll see You. I just have to choose to stop and look at the sky. And now as the sun sets behind the mountains, I see the unspoken it carries between us because I have always just expected You to meet me and tell me what I need to know. But how can I listen when I’m always on the go? How do I listen if I’m not even willing to go to You to listen? I let so much things go unsaid between us because I just expect You to come to me. So, as I stare at Your Glory, God, thank You for letting me see the unspoken between me and You now before I’m separated from You. Please keep reminding me when I put You to the side. When I just expect You to be there for me. Show me when I’m not there for You. Don’t let me miss our sunsets. Don’t let me miss Your truth.

Love,

Viv
