For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

Psalms 51:16-17 NKJV

One of the magical things about poetry is the power a few words have once they’re strung together. Such as the words in a well-written haiku. This may not be the best haiku, but it’s for you. And doesn’t something given with all beat something given because it’s the best? So if you would like, with all I have…here’s a haiku for you.

Broken is still good.
May not be the best you want,
It's the best you have.
