Scripture Post:
And on some have compassion making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

Compassion: a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.
To be caring, emotional, big-hearted, kind, is not weak. It is not a weakness. If anything, it is the most dangerous and powerful thing of all about a person. It is so powerful it will push a person to run into a fire for their friend, help a mother hold a sick child’s hand, have a person stay in the most horrendous of places so that they can help someone else get out. Compassion is a powerful thing. It is also dangerous. Do not let compassion drive you to a breaking point, do not let it consume you till you resent that same power that so many are thankful for. Compassion can change the world, in time. Just don’t let the evil, the tragedy, the darkness that surrounds us change you. Be who you are, and no one else.
