Now to Him (God) who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

Have you ever had that feeling of…”Wow, that was a lot better than I expected!” I have. Recently too. I went shooting this week and did a lot better than I expected. I created some drafts of a couple logos my friend and a co-worker asked me to do. One, my friend’s craft logo, was through a word cloud site, and the other, my co-worker’s logo, I made using a new App I had to learn. Both came out better than I expected. At the end of it all I was like: “Wow God, these things came out way better than I expected. I at least expected to struggle a bit or something.”

And then He said: “Working is the struggle. Doing it is the hard part. Yet, when we work together, even something with little potential, like a sapling of an idea, can grow into a beautiful tree of creativity.”

It was so reassuring to know that when I work with God and let Him lead in whatever I am doing, whether it’s work, design, or archery, the littlest step can begin a beautiful journey.

So I hope whatever endeavor you decide to do this week, you do it with God and see the great unexpected that can come from a little.
