Here’s the second poem of the series! I changed the ending like five times. God is really showing me how every little detail, sound, feel, and look go into a poem. Poetry is complex, simple, beautiful, difficult, and takes time. Just like anything else in life.
Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come.
Proverbs 31:25 NKJV
Steel is the strongest metal on earth. But she can bend and melt, Even when she is tough. They said she had to be strong since birth. To take what has been dealt, It has made her rough. People say that luster is her worth. No matter what is felt, Shiny over tough. Is steel pretty when she is unearth? No one asks if she melt. Melting not enough. Steel has to be tough and pretty. Steel has to be smart and witty. Steel can't be too soft or gritty. Steel is the strongest metal on earth. Steel shouldn’t break, but if she did, Is broken scarred steel still steel?
