You cannot control me or touch me, yet there are times you look for me.

You explain my existence and my limits with your understanding.

You tell stories about me, but can never ask my thoughts.

I twirl around and beside you, yet you barely catch a glimpse of me in the day.

I am consistent in my change which you measure for seasons.

I am cared for and held by something greater than you.

The night is my home.

Who am I?

Real Talk:

Answer, the moon. If you didn’t figure it out that’s okay. The point of this riddle wasn’t to solve it. But it hopefully showed this mysterious and beautiful thing in a new light. Hopefully it reminds you that there are things outside of your control, and that’s okay. When things are out of your control and in God’s hands, like the moon, they can become some of the most beautiful things that you have ever seen. So, let God take your burdens, your cares, your worries, and watch as He turns them into something mind blowing.

God’s Message, from the God who lights up the day with sun and brightens the night with moon and stars. Who whips the ocean into a billowy froth, whose name is God-of-the-Angel-Armies:

Jeremiah 31:35
