Peace is hard to maintain.
Really though, it’s hard to gain.
Instead we settle for comfort and escape,
Not sure why peace doesn’t take their shape.
Certainly it would be easier for us if they did.
Even if easy gets truth rid

Peace is not an escape from the lion’s den.
Every storm has an eye and an end.
Amidst pain, mercy, and truth is peace.
Comfort is in peace but that’s not all it is.
Everything peace is, everything in it is found in
